Processing time

There are three types of visa processing options applicable for you to choose from:

  • Standard visa processing will take around 4-5 working days.
  • Rush visa Processing will take around 3-4 business days and,
  • Super Rush visa Processing will take around 1-2 business days.

Therefore, you can choose from any of the above options to process your e-visa application.

Apply for the e-visa

  • Apply online via the Vietnam immigration department website to fill up your e-visa application form.
  • Follow the guidelines to fill your form, and after paying the visa fee, submit your form.
  • Thus, you will receive your e-visa within 2-4 business days in your registered email address as a PDF document.
  • Carry the printout copy of your e-visa to present at the 28 applicable entry ports of Vietnam. The document will allow you to get the visa stamp on your passport. Further, you don’t have to pay any additional charges at the entry ports.
  • You can enter via certain airports, land borders, and seaports with the applicable e-visa.

How to apply for Vietnam visa at the embassy?

If you are living near to the Vietnam embassy office in the UK and looking for a valid advance visa to enter Vietnam, then apply for the Visa at the embassy option. It allows you to visit the embassy office with your original documents to fill and submit your visa application.

Thus, within 4-5 days, your visa application will be processed at the embassy, and you can collect your approved Visa with the passport. After submitting your form, you will receive a confirmation mail acknowledging your visa application. Thus after 1-2 working days, you will receive your visa approval letter over your email Id.

Take the print out of the same and carry all other essential documents along with you. After you arrive at the Vietnam international airport, present all the documents to the immigration authorities. They will stamp your passport with a valid Visa based on your visa approval letter.
