From 2023, INDIAN citizens holding temporary residence cards or valid Vietnam visas can continue to enter the country without applying for a Vietnam visa or approval letter.  At present, do Indian who want to travel to Vietnam need to apply for a visa?

According to the Vietnamese government’s decree, Indian are not on the list of citizens of Visa-free countries. Option 1. Apply for a visa at the Vietnamese Embassy in India

Documents required for Indians who are going to Vietnam to apply for visas:

• Complete the online visa application form, print and sign it. Apply on the website: http://visa.mofa.gov.vn。
• The original and copy of the passport shall be valid for at least six months from the expected date of arrival in Vietnam, with empty pages.
• Two color photos, white background size 2×2 inches.

Working hours: 9:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Applications are accepted in the morning, from 10:30 to 12:30. Visa collection is in the afternoon, from 4:00 to 5:00.
